Announcement: Moving from daily to weekly blogging

Hey everyone,

I’m starting my software engineering job at Flexport next week, which leaves less time to blog. I also want to work on Quickapply on the side, which is a time commitment too.

So, I’m switching to a weekly publishing schedule. I plan to publish a 1000+ word post every Sunday for a while. Y’all gotta hold me to this!

Am I worried about switching away from a daily posting schedule?

In short, yes. In my experience, I’ve found it easier to build daily habits than to build weekly or biweekly habits. I’ve noticed this with blogging, and I’ve also noticed this with working out.

But I care a lot about this, so I’ll experiment and see what works.

I’ll also be starting a monthly newsletter!!! You can expect an announcement with details on that, but I’m still sorting out what I want to promise you all.
